Hello world! Sorry that this is a day late, my computer decided to cut off half way through writing this so, I'm writing it now :D I know that I asked tons of questions last week, but I'm still considering what to do. I considered other countries that speak English, but I like the... urm.. English nessI thought that living in the netherlands would be really fun and I learned quite a lot of dutch really quickly and unlike the hundreds of other languages I study for some reason, I feel that I could actually learn dutch to that level. The only thing that I fear is that I might not have that magical connection I have with this language (when I need it) in the netherlands. I will begin doing some basic research into the dutch law system then, thank you for your advice : D
On to the questions: ( gonna be quick because I need to go)
Emma: I love the blog, I agree with chris that it would be nice to have 2 more people, but otherwise we're doing fine. I think it's goo that we try new things and it's always fun writing here.
Chris: First think I do is wake up, and the last go to sleep. I try not to be too scehduled or things get a bit boring.
Sorry It's so short but my mom is waiting in the car for me and this might be the only chance I have to finish this :D Bye and have a good week :D

Still in limbo.

As of yet I am still very much unemployed for the summer. I had an interview on Saturday, which I think went quite well, but I still haven't heard anything back. The other job I'm hoping for is still reviewing applications and won't be doing call backs until next week at best.

Currently I have just under two weeks left in the semester, and quite frankly I can't wait for it to be done! I have a final term project due on Thursday for my physics course so that will likely consume all of my time on Wednesday. I also really need to start revising for final exams, the first of which is on Monday. Hopefully things go well and I can manage to revise enough! Otherwise things have been very unexciting for me, so I will move on to questions since I am exhausted and just want to go to bed.

Mine: I can't actually recall if I've every celebrated easter somewhere else. I know for sure I've often been away on holidays with my family skiing during easter break but I think thats about it. For us it's not really a big deal. The only thing we do is get our food blessed and have a nice easter meal. Nothing to fancy, it's more symbolic then anything. I don't really think I'll carry on much of the tradition just because I'm indifferent too it. I suppose should I decide to spend easter with my parents in the future we will likely uphold the traditions but on my own I doubt it.

Sam:

Notion of terminating themes approved and effective immediately. Your probably right in that a working knowledge of a language is essential in being an effective lawyer. That being said I'm sure if you started learning a new language now you could know it sufficiently within a few years, especially if you are living there. You could also likely do work for english speaking nationals in foreign countries. Knowing multiple languages fluently is very valuable when working in the legal system. Or you could simply move to a nation that already speaks english, or a nation that does trials in english. If you learn the British legal system, your best bet would likely be a common wealth nation since many of them based their legal systems off the British ones.

For the future I'm still unsure of exactly what I will be doing. I currently hope to finish my undergraduate degree in physics and then depending on how things pan out, either continue and get my masters and/or PhD or do my education degree. Regardless I want to do teaching, the real question is at what level. I would love to teach at a Uni, but it will be tough to get to that level. I will try my best, but ultimately I just want to teach.

Emma: I think the three of us have been doing fantastically with the blog, I'm not really sure what happened to Becca, but perhaps she will make a come back eventually. I'd obviously like to have at least another two people, but at the same time I always enjoy sharing our stories as it is.

Me: What is the first thing you do in your day, and what is the last thing you do in your day?

Mad World

Right now that’s exactly how it feels. Doesn’t matter if I have a thousand things to do on none, it’s just crazy all the time.

This weekend it’s been Easter and my mom’s boyfriend came and visited for a couple of days. I had planned to sleep a lot since I didn’t have any classes but I woke up before 11AM all days except today when I slept till 3PM. Yesterday I went to a mall outside the city and watched two bands perform. I brought my camera and when there was one song left I remembered I could film with it and not just take photos so I did. Here’s the video. Unfortunately they sing in Swedish but Henrik, the lead singer, is hot enough to make it worth watching anyway :P.

This coming Sunday I’m gonna help out at a live airing of a TV-show and I convinced a friend of mine to help so I have someone I know there.

On to the questions.

My own question was about food around Easter and we have a kind of smorgasbord, which mean that mom had prepared pretty much the same dishes as around Christmas and then everyone could go and take what they wanted and as much as they wanted.

To answer Chris question. No, I have never celebrated Easter in another country and Easter is not a big deal in my family. The only thing we do is the smorgasbord and Easter eggs filled with candy. So I think I’m gonna continue those traditions.

Sam had a lot of questions so here we go,
1. I vote no on keeping the themes too because I’m just really confused about the whole thing. I think it works fine with just question and maybe we can work something else out later.
2. Well, If you really want to move abroad you could always move to a country that speak English. Like the US, Canada, Malta (I think), Australia or New Zeeland etc.
3. I actually have no idea what I want to do when I get older. When I was younger I wanted to become a lawyer, economist or teacher. But now I’m studying to do something in the HR field. Although I’m still not sure if that’s really what I want.

My question this week is “What is your experience/thoughts of this blog so far?”
