Calgary weather is sort of crazy...

In my reasonable number of travels, I don't think I've ever experienced weather quite like Calgary. I am not exaggerating when I say that yesterday it was -23C/-9F here yesterday morning and then by midnight it was already -5C/23F (thats right the temperature went up in the evening). Today I woke up to +2C/33F temperature and howling winds. I'm not sure if this phenomenon exists elsewhere in the world, but we get things called chinooks regularly in the winter. Essentially they are very warm winds. It makes planning things rather difficult at times. It also makes driving always an adventure since you never know what the weather will be like, especially when one day everything is melting and then next day its freezing out again.

See link for more info (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chinook_winds)

Even aside from the chinooks, the weather here is very unpredictable. Calgary is well known for the saying, "if you don't like the weather, wait 5 mins". Sadly it is very true, as we can have extreme fluctuations in temperature and weather conditions.

Since I'm doing this last minute again, on to questions...

Wednesday (Emma), plastic surgery: Having had plastic surgery for medical reasons in the past, I am mostly indifferent to the concept. I mean I wouldn't object to some minor tweaks, but nothing major. I still want to have more real skin then plastic. That being said, if I did have to choose, I would say to remove the scaring on my upper lip and even it out with the bottom. Not really sure what else, other then the standard things of getting more definition and what not, but thats really more about me going to the gym haha :P

Thursday (Sam), achievement: Hmm, I don't know that I really have a "great achievement", or at least not in my eyes. I suppose you could say graduating secondary school and getting into university, but that got all cocked up anyway. I suppose surviving the last 4 years has been quite the adventure in itself. I've grown as a person a lot and learned a lot about myself as well. Participating and getting on the podium at the Arctic Winter Games is certainly noteworthy as well. For those that don't know it is an international competition held every two years for everyone that lives above the 52 parallel, in many different disciplines.

Friday (Michiel), kids: Yes, I do want kids. As to how many and their names, I'm not really sure yet. I'm thinking no more then 4, but probably just 1 or 2. Naturally as a male, I would prefer a boy, but I'd be equally happy with a girl, or even better, one of each. I don't really have any names picked out, but there are many I like. Preferably something that can be shortened, and is not already over used. Realistically I will likely end up adopting, which I am fine with, as there are far to many homeless children as it is! (now you got me all Sappy mich! lol :P)

My question: What was your favorite and worst year of grade school/college/university, and of course why?

I'll have to get back to you on my own response haha.
