It’s never enough to say I’m sorry…

But I am really sorry that I haven’t posted for the past two weeks or so. I’ve been both crazy busy and also totally lazy at times.

Since last a lot of things have happened. I went on my cruise and it was AMAZING. The weather was great most of the time, it was really hot in Riga and in Visby it was warm but we had a little rain-shower. We ate ice cream at a famous place that had over 100 different flavors, I took three different kinds of chocolate :) And of course I spent some time shopping, mostly souvenirs thou.

We’ve also had a big family party to celebrate my mom who’s turned 52 and my sisters who’ve turned 18 and 30 this summer and me that’s turning 20 this coming Monday. I spent 2 days in the kitchen before the party making three cakes and three sandwich layer-cakes. They became a hit and everyone loved them. Oh, and I got some gifts :)

Other than that I’ve mostly relaxed and done pretty much nothing. Well, I’ve spent the last couple of days at school with a friend trying to finish two essays for a summer class, but other than that I’ve been up all nights and slept all days.

One more thing, this weekend a carnival is in town so I’ll probably go there to look for a bit.

On with the questions:

Mine: The most expensive object I own is probably my computer that I’ve spent $2000-$2500 on in total.

Chris: My favorite late night activity is a tie between watching TV and sitting by the computer I think.

Hello all!

So I've been totally slacking as far as updating is concerned. Things have been rather busy between school, working, and attempting a social life, but I will do my best to keep updating! Work has been busy, and now that I'm taking a class it adds to the pile of things to do. So far I quite like my class, or at least I like the professor. She's a little crazy, but she keeps the class interesting, despite the dry subject matter. The class is on technical communication, which is not a particularly exciting topic, but an important one and I'm glad she has a way of keeping it as exciting as one can. Otherwise my weeks are filled with working and dealing with small children as well as the observatory, (weather permitting.)

I also went camping last weekend, which was quite fun. I did however get a rather bad sunburn on my back though. I am now peeling which is always awkward and unattractive, haha. The upside however, is that I will get a nice tan when it's done and over with.

It's now semi-official that I will be moving home sometime within the next month. I have let my landlord know that I intend to move out when my lease is over, and discussed it with my current roommate. She intends to stay, regardless of whether or not one of our mutual friends takes my place. Also, my parents have booked their flights to Asia, they are going to Thailand and its surrounding countries for 3 months starting in late October. I am quite jealous of their trip, but I will also enjoy having the house to myself for that time.

Anyway work is almost over so I will be off.

Questions:

I generally do like to buy nicer things if I have the money, and I can tell that it is genuinely manufactured to a higher standard. Usually however, I don't have the money, so I get the best that I can afford. Although sometimes if it's an article of clothing or something I know is going to be abused then I'll just get the cheapest thing I can find.

I think the most expensive thing I own is my camera, I've spent over $3000 on the camera itself and various equipment.

What is your favorite late night activity? (after midnight)

In the night I hear him talk

Not much has happened this last week. I’ve been trying to read some books for school and kind of failed. Another thing that I’ve failed miserable with for the last couple of weeks is sleep. I haven’t made it to bed before 3-4am in I don’t know how long…

So I’ve spent the nights online and just today I found a couple of great sites with maps and tips that I can use when I’m going on my cruise to Riga and Visby this Friday. I’ve decided that I’m gonna spend most of my time in the old parts of the town and I’ve also found a great shopping center there with 140 stores (including Tommy Hilfiger, Denim, Marc'O Polo, Gant, Gabor, Diesel and G-Star Raw), as well as cafés and restaurants. They also have a whole floor that is a SPA. (What did people do before internet? :P) So I’m looking forward to this trip.

As you know I finally got a new phone from the store last week. This week my headphones to my mp3 stopped working so I had to take them back to the same store. I wonder what I’ve done to deserve this?

Let’s move on to the questions since it’s almost 3:30 am and I should go to bed:

Mine: I’m torn between getting vaccinated or not. I have never had the “normal” flu, but at the same time it seems like this has started to spread pretty viciously. I guess all I can do right now is wait and see what the health department/hospitals recommend.

Chris: I usually don’t think it’s worth spending extra money on nicer clothes. Normally I try to find clothes that I like to reasonable prices. But even I can make exceptions, and I made one of those today/yesterday when I bought a pair of black, high heeled, open toe shoes for $200. Usually I only buy shoes that costs between $25 and $60.

New question: What is the most expensive object that you own?

Weary Traveller Returns

Well needless to say SF was beyond amazing! It was everything I had hoped for and more. I don't have the time to go into detail, but heres a very brief recap:

- The drive down went quite smoothly with the exception of the flat tire we got in Montana and had to replace at 11:00 pm

- The hostel was nice, and is situated on an old military fort. It was also surrounded by trees, almost like a park

- The pride festivities were insane! There were massive parties (with over 100 000 people) every night and the parade made me cry. It was a very long and very happy parade and I got a little emotional when I saw all the gay and lesbian families going by!

- The weather was fantastic, but a little chilly in the evenings, although I'm told that is normal.

- I spent to much shopping, but I got some nice things and I'm glad I did!

Vancouver:

- I got to meet up with some family friends and we went to the beach to check out hot men. We also played volleyball on the beach and had a lot of fun

- The gay bar was awesome there too! Lots of pretty boys and hot gogo dancers.

- My Ex got a little weird on the trip and apparently was/is going through a bunch of emotional stuff for some reason.

- The drive back was long but pretty and it went by quicker then expected.

Getting back to work is difficult, especially getting used to waking up at 6:00 am every morning again! :( So I'm very exhausted and going to bed right after this.

I don't think I'd worry to much about swine flu (officially H1N1), especially since one of my coworkers is on the local university research team and she is not too concerned. It's only really a threat if you have a poor or compromised immune system to begin with.

My question: Do you think it's worth spending more money on nicer clothes (within reason)?

Finally some good news

You might have noticed that I didn’t post last week. There are two reasons for that, firstly I had so much to do that there was no time for it and secondly I wanted to wait for Chris to post. He should be back posting this week.

So since last time a few things have happened, the most important one being me getting a new phone. The store FINALLY contacted me and today I got it. I didn’t get to choose phone myself but it’s ok since I got it for free.

I’ve also been spending a lot of time with my sister and her new baby. He is so adorable and I love spending time with them. The plan for the last two weeks also including reading some books for school but I’ve postponed that due to the lovely weather.

I’m starting to look forward to the cruise I’ll be going on in a week and a half. I’m leaving on the 17th and will be getting home on the 20th in time to post my blog. Another thing I’m looking forward to is my 20th birthday that is coming up on the 10th of August. So I’ve only got about a month left to be a teenager.

Time for the question.

Mine: This summer my favorite TV-show is AI season 8 that they are showing here now. I’m also watching a lot of the drama series.

New question: So a few weeks ago there was a lot of media coverage on the whole swine flu thing. They are now predicting that it’ll come back in the fall again. So now they are planning to vaccinate or at least offer the possibility of getting vaccinated to everyone in Sweden.

That leads to my question for this week. Would you get vaccinated against the swine flu if you were offered it? Or would you skip it and try not to get sick without the vaccination?

Don't know where the future's heading

This will be a quick blog cause I’m going over to a friends for a “party” with a lot of people I’ve never meet before.

This week I bought a new phone for 25 dollars that I’m gonna use until the store gives me a new phone or my money back. Right now I’m not sure what’s going on with the phone and I haven’t heard from the store for the past week and a half. But all I can do is wait so that’s what I’m gonna do.

I also bought an Xbox 360 and a Guitar Hero so I’ve been spent a lot of time playing with that. But to be honest I think I’ve spent most of my time with my nephew William.

Oh, and I celebrated midsummer together with my family and I got some gifts that my dad bought to me when he was in Cyprus last week.

Let’s get on with the questions cause I have to go to my friends house soon.
Mine: I remember my 12th birthday the most because I had it at night and we watched a lot of horror movies (which I by the way hate now) and ate a lot of pizza.

Chris: I’m happy with my life and within a few hours I’ll probably be a lot happier due to the drinks consumed at the “party” :P … But to be a bit more serious I’m actually quite happy with my life and right now it feels right with school too even though I’m not a 100% sure it’s what I’m gonna do in the future it’s still interesting at the moment.

Full Speed Ahead Cap-i-tan!

As expected, this summer is flying by at ridiculous speeds. It is almost the end of June, which means my summer is almost half over already! On the one hand I feel very unaccomplished, but on the other hand I've been so busy I've hardly had time to sleep. Sadly my crazy work schedule has consumed the majority of my time thus far and it has left little time to do anything else. I've tried to get out and about a few times with friends, but it's tricky and inconsistent.

On the upside things will be slowing down significantly at the concert hall, since there will simply not be as many shows going on. However it also appears that I will be taking a summer communications course as well, so that will consume the rest of my time. This year, I'm hoping to apply for a double minor in Applied Mathematics and Astrophysics, so I need to go talk to the academic advisor to make sure I take all the courses I need.

Questions:

I'm not sure I really have any memorable birthdays... Largely because my birthday is always right after the holidays when school is starting again or I'm away on vacation or something. I enjoyed my last birthday, which we went and painted our own ceramic objects ( I painted a gnome).

Are you happy with your life now and where it is currently going? A simple but at the same time, loaded question. :)

Seconds, hours, so many days…

Since I posted late last week and Mondays are my normal day it’s my turn to post a blog again. Nothing much has happened really. I’ve spent a lot of time at the hospital visiting my sister, her boyfriend and their baby, my nephew William. They left the hospital today so from now on I can visit them at their apartment instead.

Other than that I’ve continued my fight to get a new phone and hopefully it will be solved soon because I’ve had to borrow an old phone from my dad for the last two months almost and it’s no fun. Pretty much all I can do with it is call and text, nothing else.

Oh, they finally started airing American Idol on TV here now so even though I’ve seen most of it and especially all of Adam’s clips online I’m gonna follow it now to get myself an opinion of all of the other contestants.

Since I asked the last question I’m not gonna ask a new one today and I’m gonna wait til next week to answer my own when Chris has posted a blog and one more question for me to answer.

You know what you want, but how long can you wait?

I know this is a bit late but I’ve been busy with a lot of stuff, both good and bad. Let’s start with the good things. One of my sisters had a baby boy 2 days ago and he is beyond cute, but that has taken up some time.

I’ve also just recently found out that I got a B on my last econ final that I didn’t even think I was gonna pass.

Moving on to the bad stuff, my phone has been at the store for service/reparations for the last month and a half. I’ve gotten it back three times but the problem has still been there so it’s now the fourth time it’s in (within this month and a half). So now I’ve gotten tired of it so I’ve enlisted the help of a person that helps consumers when they have problems with things they’ve bought. So now we’ve threatened the store to take this matter to the National Board for Consumer Complaints. Hopefully it will all be solved soon.

Moving on to the question;
Chris: I think charities are good and if I had more money I would support the ones that I believe in. But I would never give money to a charity just because you should if I don’t believe in what they are doing.

New question: Which one of your birthdays do you remember the most and why?

Decisions!

Tonight I was proposed with a very interesting financial offer from my parents. Essentially they would help fund my new car if I agreed to move back in with them for at least a year. I currently have an aging vehicle that is on its last leg. Don't get me wrong, I love my car, but realistically it is getting to the age that it could fail at any moment and is well past its prime.

From a financial perspective it makes logical sense to move back home since I would save a significant amount of money and actually be able to afford things. The other hope is that if I do move back, I would work a lot less during the school year and actually have adequate time for my studies.

This is all for the trade off of my freedom, and the hope that I would actually be able to stand living at home. I'm generally an independent person, and if things could stay that way while living there and they didn't get in my way to much it could be tolerable. But I will certainly need some time to think things over and make some sort of a decision.

I'll skip a question today since I asked the last one.

The condensed answer of my question is that yes I do support charities, but to an extent. I generally only donate or help out specific causes and efforts.

Wholly crap it's June!

I can't believe it's already June. As usual the summer is just flying by. I'll keep this short. My 3 summer jobs are in full swing, and so far I'm quite enjoying all of them. Minds in motion is lots of fun, but I'm having issues keeping up with my required project hours. Largely becuase I am a driver and am constantly out and about doing workshops and shopping for supplies. I have yet to be in the office all week, I've been busy running around town.

I've officially booked the hostel in San Francisco, so everything is going to plan so far! We are currently planning to stay 5 nights in SF. We are not sure of the details for after SF but at least we have that much figured out.

Questions:

I think our education system is rather slack and under funded, at least compared to European schools. We always seem to be a year behind european kids of the same grade level.

I think adam lambert will do well for himself even though he didn't win. He's popular and talented enough to go reasonably far with his singing career.

Chineses remedies are quite interesting and I think they can be very powerful if used properly and effectively. I haven't really subscribed to much of chinese remedies, but I think it's certianly something I would consider using in the future.

Chris is quite a common name so I've seen it on lots of random things. Nothing really major but there is always those keychains and such with my name on it.

So I know I’ve been a bit distant the last couple of weeks but it’s been so much in school. Today I had my last final for this semester and on Wednesday I’ve got a presentation then I’m done… till Tuesday when I start my summer class. Since I’ve hardly slept anything the last 9 days due to studying I’m gonna go straight to the question.

Or wait, first I have to tell you guys about my visit to H&M. That is actually the reason for the title of this blog. I found a super cute bluish nail polish and when I saw the name of it I just had to buy it even though I almost have no money left, it was called “Enchantress Emma”. I mean seriously, what is the odds of finding a nail polish that has the same name as you do?

Well, on to the questions:

Mine: I LOVE Adam Lambert, he’s a great singer and an amazing artist/performer. I’ve got all of his songs and I actually don’t think it mattered to much that he didn’t win because he’ll have an amazing career anyway.

Sam: I have no real opinion on Chinese remedies, mainly because I’ve never tried it. But if it works for people why not use it?

New question: Have you ever found some sort of merchandise that has your name? In that case what.

Better 3 weeks late than never..

Ok, I don't think I'm gonna be writing much because I will have so many questions to answer, so I'll just get started on them:

Picture of favorite neighborhood place: I didn't take this one myself, but here is edgbaston resevoir. However, at this time of year it is a bit more full than it is in that picture.

Last movie I saw/ next film I might: The last film I saw at the cinema was 'fighting'. The reveiws said it was boring and had a terrible plot and that the fight scenes were rubbish/ not enough. But after watching it, I think it was actually quite good. I don't know if it's because I am too easily pleased, or that the people who said that went into the film expecting 2 hours of kick ass fight scenes. I think it's that, thinking about it the title is easy to be mis-understood, whilst at the same time, stil fits with the story. The mext film I might see, is that one that is supposed to be the scariest film of this decade. Something about dragging someone to hell or something. My favorite horror film this decade has to probably be 1408, I can't really think of any, so if you think there is one better than that, tell me.

Susan Boyle: To be honest I haven;t actually heard her sing. I know there has been loads of press about her, she's always in the newspapers and stuff. I was actually surprised that People from all round the world had heard of her, so considering that there are some quite good (and also quite bad) acts this year and they haven't been praised as much as her, she must be good. But I can't really give an opinion untill I've heard her. Although, I think it is slightly unfair ona all the other acts, who probably feel like crap when everyone is bascically telling them that they have no chance.

Favorite summer time activity: hmm.. Holidaying I suppose. I can't really think of one, I just like the whole summer break.

Education system: Well, Primary school seemed fine and secondary school has been.. somewhat disapointing. Apparently, I go to quite a good school, which means there are plenty of schools worse than mine. Although I am in the highest group, there is still a wide range of abilities, that might be a problem here, that we tend to water everything down so the slowest people can keep up, I know that when you go on expoditions e.t.c. you walk at the speed of the slowest walker, so I'm not saying we should cater only for the more able ones and leave the others struggling and ultimatley lost (as my maths teacher does), just adapt things to each individual better. Like in language classes. We don't learn enough grammar or vocabulary, we just get fed endless phrases, which we should be able to remeber somehow and then regurgitate when the situation arrises. They try and make us become walking phrasebooks, exept full of phrases like 'the dog sits on the mat' 'the cat sit near the mat' and 'I would like to borrow your jumper'. Not only are these sentences never going to turn up in a conversation (excluding mental hospitals) But no-one can rember phrases like that. This is the kind of stuff they test us on: 'Hello, my name is Sam, I have brown hair, green eyes and I have a dog who is called Bob. I have 23 brothers and a sister. Can I borrow your jumper?'. Quite honestly it's embarressing when we go anywhere else abroad and there are toddlers who have learned English better than you've learned their language.

Adam Lambert: Who? Sorry, I've heard of him, but I have no idea who he (he, right?) is. Sorry.

Better late than never

So as you might have noticed I didn’t post my blog on Monday, that’s because I’m crazy busy right now and I’m spending practically all my time in school studying for the final in my econ class on Monday.

So since I last posted here my phone has broken down again so it’s at the store for reparations for the third time in a month. I’m starting to get a tad bit frustrated about it now. Also my group at school finished an essay we wrote but I’m happy I got them to change the layout and much of the content because the first draft looked like it had been written by an alcoholic dyslectic person on strong medications.

Apart from bad essays, phones from hell and a coming exam a pair of the shoes I bought a month ago has started to fall apart too. To be honest it feels like nothing is going my way right now. The one good thing that happened this last week that I can remember is that my oldest sister came to visit us. I haven’t seen her for almost a year but she came down now to meet my other older sister before she has her baby, which should be born in 1-3 weeks.

Now it’s time for me to stop complaining, at least for a bit, and answer some questions.

Mine: I thought Susan was really good at her first audition but I’m not really sure what I think about her semi-final performance. And to be honest she’s gotten so much press that she’s starting to feel a bit overrated.

Chris: My favorite summer activity has to be to have picnics in the sun and just relax and hang out. I’m not that into too physical stuff.

I actually like the education system we have here in Sweden. The one thing I would change if I could would be to give more money to the education system so they could put more efforts into making it even better and to help everyone that needs it.

New question: Since I asked your opinion on Susan Boyle last week I’m gonna continue on sort of the same subject. So this week’s question is “What is your opinion on Adam Lambert”?

*sneeze!*

My spring allergies have officially kicked into high gear and have been quite annoying over the past few days. I've had to double my allergy medication dosage just to cope. I get a bad runny nose and itchy eyes. The strange part is that I never used to have this problem growing up. It's only been the last 5-7 years that it's been happening. It even happened in europe last summer! Once everything blooms it's usually okay though.

In other news, I finally got out to the observatory on Friday night. I was like a fat kid in a candy store and was very much amazed by all the fancy equipment that I will be using. I also got keys to the observatory as well as the laboratory on campus. The only downside is that the main telescope is still down because the secondary mirror got jammed and it will likely take a little while to get fixed. But, I still can use the smaller telescope to do some observing and what not.

My computer seems to be acting strange again. The wireless is intermittently working, so I need to get it repaired. Hopefully that won't get in the way of posting.

I've also gotten into the habit of biking to work/campus everyday and so far it is going quite well. It is a 8.5 km trip (one way), and takes roughly 30 min, depending on traffic. It's a nice feeling knowing that I'm getting exercise and helping the environment, as well as my wallet.

My favorite summer time activity would probably be traveling/biking.

Ahoy!

Sleeping before midnight on a regular basis is sort of strange for me. I had gotten used to staying up to ridiculous hours so much that now it's just weird, but then again I sort of have to go to bed early since I have to be at work at 7:45 am. Work is going fantastically well, I'm really enjoying it and look forward to the rest of the summer. I still have yet to make it out to the observatory since the weather didn't cooperate the last time I was scheduled to go out, so hopefully I will go this week!

I saw Star Trek on Friday and very much enjoyed it! Needless to say Kirk was hot! I'm still reading Angels and Demons so I hope to finish that soon so I can go see the movie, since I hear it is quite decent as well. I was planning to bike to campus/work again tomorrow but the weather is forecast to be down right miserable again so I don't think that will happen.

I unfortunately don't know enough about Susan Boyle for formulate an opinion about her, so I will just leave it at that.

Time flies when you’ve got lots to do

I’ve been more busy than usual this last week and I’ve almost lived at school studying 24/7. Last week I think I only slept a total of 20-25 hours. Its still 2½ weeks left of the term and I’ve got a big group-essay to finish and then there is a final exam in one of the courses. So I know what I’ll be doing for the next couple of weeks. This hectic schedule is also the reason why I have no photos in this week’s blog. I’m gonna get them up as soon as I can but since I’ve spent the majority of my time in school (and it’s not my favorite place :P) it’s been difficult to take pictures.

Moving on whit the questions cause I’m tired and have to get up at 5:30 tomorrow morning to work on parts of the essay.

Chris: I actually don’t go to the cinemas that often, I prefer to watch the movies at home. But the last movie I saw at the cinema was a Swedish movie that I can’t remember the name of right now. I would like to go see Angels & Demons because I’ve read the book and I’ve seen the first movie.

This is going to be super short!

I've been working a ridiculous amount of hours between my two jobs and will be starting work on my third job this week as well. So far I really like my main job of designing and implementing summer science camps for kids! It's really fun! I basically get to play around with random stuff all day and make fun science projects and experiments. The concert hall is really busy this month so I've been working lots and I'm super poor so I really need the cash. I'm suppose to be getting trained at the observatory on thursday/friday so we shall see how that goes and I will of course let you know.

Also I'm considering buying a road bike (with the money I don't have) since ideally I'd love to ride to and from work! Not to mention I've never owned a road bike and I think it would be fun to try something new!

I will try to take some pictures over the week and post them when I get a chance, as well I will try to do a more proper blog post.

Emma, I think London would be fantastic! Even if it is your first time I think you'll be alright, besides being terrified is half the fun! :P I've never been to the UK but I'd love to visit. :)

Should be working and sleeping more

This will be a really short on because I’m not just busy I’m SUPER busy. So I have a home exam that is due Friday that I haven’t started, have to read the literature and answer the essay questions. Other than that I have two group assignments that need to get finished. Oh, and one more exam. The worst part is that I don’t feel like I know anything about the subject.

Moving on, as you might know my phone crashed 2½ weeks ago so I had to get it to the store. Last Friday I got a text saying I could come get it. Then when I got home and tried to start it I noticed that it still didn’t work so I had to go straight back to the store and hand it in again.

One last thing before moving on to the questions. I went to the hospital today to get tested to become a blood donor. Well, I filled in all the papers got the information and was taken in to a exam room to take the blood-test, but then the nurse said she couldn’t find a blood vessel that was good enough without me risking to not being able to get my own blood-tests in the future if I ever were to become a patient. So she said I couldn’t become a blood donor at this point, but I could try again in a couple of years and see if the vessels had become better/stronger.

Not too many questions to answer since Chris didn’t post last week due to some computer problems.

Basically all I have to answer is Sams question if by next summer I mean this one or the one 2010. Well, by next summer I mean the one 2010, but I’m still not sure if I’m gonna go to London by myself or if I should start with a trip to Stockholm.

London and the value of being a geek.

Hello. This is going to be very short. Before I begin I am not even going to do my own challenge, just because I can't be bothered. By the way, superfluous means over the top basically, but I'm not 100% certain that's how you spell it.
This week..
hmm.. Wow, for some reason, (because I have a freaky memory) I can memorise a deck of cards in about 5 minutes, but I can't even remeber what I did this week. I hope to God it's because I'm tired, otherwise I have senile dementure.. dementure, dementia, however you spell it (I can't even remeber spellings xD). Anyway, there was something that happened, well obviously; You remember.. I'll choose another word.... you know when I kept on talking about law and stuff every single week, and I never spoke about anything else (As if you could forget), well, It actually came to use sooner than I expected. Basically, some chavs were shouting stuff about my lovely curly hair, obviously not knowing that they were insulting a geek, who's geekyness was his strength in situations like this. They used they're clearly impecible, infallible, astonoshing, imagination, and geniously arrived at the name 'curly-wurly', which was.. I think.. an attack at my hair. In case you don't have it where you are, a curly wurly is a chocolate bar we have here (Btw, If you do know what one is, I don't want to sound patronising). There was a group of about 8 of them, similar age to me- some a little older and some a little younger. I knew a few of them for some reasons, I think one of them was called Latex or Laton or something and then the other three go to a school near me, One of them easily recognisable by his size, as he squeezed his way out of the chip shop to join into a chant about chocolate aimed at offending my hair, no joke.. crazy, huh? Anyway, knowing the law, I bravely (or at least tried to appear so) approached them and suggested that they stop chanting. Of course, I was outnumbered approximatley 1000-1 (well strictley speaking about 8 to 1) But I knew something which meant if they did do anything, it would only help me. That is when I put on my most intelligent and smug sounding, 'bbc' voice and told them that they had just harrassed me, and if I wanted to, I could charge them all. To make sure I didn't sound vauge, and to convey an idea that I knew everything about law there is (in fact I know next to nothing, I am just good at speaking), I stated the exact laws they were in breech of: The 1986 Public order act, section 5, stating that it is against the law to use disorderly behaviour within the sight or hearing of a person likeley to be caused harrasment, alarm or distress as a result of this behaviour. They had no defence as I could prove all of the things I had to if this ever went to court. It was also anti-social behaviour, and breeching the peace. I told them that I knew where four of them go to school (which I do) and that I would be able to identify them and if I took immediate action, the police would find all of them so I wouldn't have to go all sherlock holmes on thier asses. Their smirking died down, and I walked off with my blood having turned nearly into pure chemicals. I love being a boffin.
The best part about it, is that he only reason I know that law, is because I have been studying a case about that particular law.. for.. absolutley ages.

London- Well, I know it is the first time you've travelled alone, there is a first time for everything and if you have the opportunity to go, then why not. But I'd plann it, otherwise you'll end up doing loads of really crappy things, unless you enjoy getting lost, travelling accross London's noisy, dirty and smelly underground to end up in some really touristic shop where all you can buy is those stupid little plastic union Jacks and mini London busses. I have been to London numerous times, and half of them have been spent standing in a packed tube train, staring at the rude creature next to me who keeps staring at me. The other half have been fantastic, fun trips. There are some obvious things to do, like the London eye and stuff, but there is a science musium which was really cool and had a massive dinosaur as well as a life size model of a blue whale. Btw, is next summer, this summer, or the summer of 2010?
